SC 2017 Connect (2) - Jun 20
Announcement:
Since last year, we have promoted reduced registration fee for campers. This year we will continue to do the same and our early bird discount is half price! That is $65 for everyone before July 2nd. The summer camp planning committee decided to do so with 2 goals in mind: Summer Camp is one of the main events for VCLC. It is important for both believers and non-believers. Therefore we do not wish our camp fee to be the roadblock for anyone. Secondly, this is also to encourage brothers & sisters to learn about monetary offering. Those with excess may support those in need. For that reason, we will have an offering moment during the camp, in hope to cover all the deficits.

We had a cross-congregation Ping-Pong Tournament last year for the first time. After many intense games and eliminations, guess who won?

Registration Deadline is Today! Don't miss your chance to come or invite friends/family to come!
Also we have 14 participants who need ride this year. Please contact Margaret Yip at CM if you are able to give rides.
Prayer Request:
Praise the Lord we now have over 100 people joined this year. Our operation deficit is approximately $6000.
Did you know?
Our speaker-Pastor Elizabeth-has 8 kids! She was a mother figure to a lot of us at EM when she was serving at VCLC with Pastor Anthony.

Summer Camp on the EM side was filled with fun & cool activities. One year we did water balloon capture the flag (fun + cool)! Another year we drew on a massive banner of how we individually connected with God (fun + super cool)!
